10th Oscar Hell Recap (95th Ceremony)

The 10th anniversary competition finished with a fourth win for Karen, her first since 2017, which also took her one clear of Tav in the all-time stakes. In fact she was in first place from the first award given and never looked like being caught.

Tav came in second, keeping up his record of reaching the podium in all but one contest. Ian slipped one place to third after coming second the previous two years. It was a close run thing for second place, needing me to do to 2dp on the scoreboard for the first time

This was the first year introducing bot players - a little bit of a risk, but I can't seem to stop myself tampering with the scoring and leaderboard. As it turns out, they worked pretty much exactly as planned. Nobody suffered the ignominy of doing worse than RandomBot, and the BookieBot (which selected all the bookies' favourites) came in second place, making it fitting that the winner was the only one to outperform the bookies. (In fact, Tav and the BookieBot ended with the exact same score, picking the same nominee in all 23 categories.)
