11th Oscar Hell Recap (96th Ceremony)

The 11th competition produced the third first-time winner in three years, with JamesR taking the crown on his third podium appearance (after two 3rd places in 2016 and 2018). JamesR narrowly beat out 4-time winner Karen into second place and debutant Luna into third.

JamesR took the outright lead following the Best Director award, and then couldn't be caught on the final three awards of the night.

This was the second time of including Bot players in the scoreboard. As last year BookieBot and RandomBot both took part. This time however, Madison had the dubious achievement of being the first, and so far only, person to do worse than RandomBot. BookieBot did slightly worse than last year with eight players managing to score better - perhaps a sign of an uncertain year in terms of favourites.
